The following benefits will be provided to Surf Schools who are accepted onto the BSA "British Surf School" approved scheme:

- Free national marketing and promotion of the school and it’s coaching and training services, via the BSA website

- The authorisation to deliver and award the BSA’s Junior Surfer Development programme. with free individual surfer ‘log book & certificates’ resources.

- The authorisation to use – with free BSA school advertising resources - the BSA ‘brand & logo’ to advertise a school and it’s surf coaching services.

- The authorisation to use – subject to contract agreement (between the RNLI and the surf school) – the RNLI-lifeguarding ‘brand & logo’ for ‘safety-on-British-beaches’ promotion at a school’s surfing beaches.

- A dedicated area BSA officer to provide direct individual advice and information consultation (liaison) for the school.This officer will also be able to "mentor" and provide information to coaches and schools on current best practise

- The opportunity to join the BSA ‘regional development plan’ for surf clubs and surf schools development for a surf school’s area.
