A as BSA membership provides the following benefits,:

Insurance -  All BSA members are covered (world wide) by our 3rd party public liability insurance. Insurance is compulsory in many areas and the number of claims is increasing each year. If you are involved in an accident whilst surfing you are covered for claims made against you of up to £2,000,000. This covers you for injuries to third parties and damage to their equipment.

Competitions - All BSA members are eligible to compete in BSA organised competitions. In addition to running large national events, the BSA also helps members run local and club competitions. Our club insurance policy may also be used to cover events run by our members

Surf News- the BSA newsletter is emailed to members on a regular basis. This contains lots of useful information about BSA matters and surf news and tips. We welcome your photographs, articles and general contributions to include in Surf News

Surf Forecast - The BSA Surf Forecast is emailed to all members on a weekly basis. It gives details of the surf forecast for all the main surfing areas of the British Isles

Surfer Log Book - All junior members receive a copy of the Junior Surfer Scheme Logbook which give a step by step guide to learning to surf
